Place: Toronto Canada - CN Tower

Month Viewed: 11 | Total Viewed: 2969 |

I was a little apprehensive about spending $30 to go up in a tower, but I thought the CN Tower was well worth it.  Although I live in the Toronto area, I decided to goto the CN Tower just for fun.  I managed to find discounted tickets from toronto.com website.
I would advise you to purchase the tickets online from the CN Tower site to avoid the massive lines when you get there.  Even in November the lines were quite long. We were thrilled to find we could just waltz in go right up to the elevators

The views from both the observation deck and skypod are AMAZING! It's nice that you are basically on your own and can spend as much time as you want up there and move at your own pace.

The glass floor made me realize that I am apparently afraid of heights but it was still fun nonetheless.

You can also try their 360 Degree restaurant, the view is really good, and the service is ok.  Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the food..... The worst food I've ever tasted in a restaurant supposed to be good.  We went as a group of 4, no one felt it was a good meal. We tried different plates for what the conclusion is; in general, the food is really bad.

Overpriced of course, but if it had been good, I would be satisfied.

I could say McDonald's or even the hotdogs on the street are way better than the food at 360 restaurant at the CN Tower.

I would not go to your restaurant again nor I would recommend to anybody.

In the end, my biggest piece of advice - buy your tickets online and save money (you get a discount at the gift shop, even if you can't get discounted tickets) and save waiting in line.  In fact, if someone invited me to the 360 restaurant, I would kindly say, for the view, we could just pay to enter the CN Tower, after that, we can go for a good meal somewhere else.
