I heard that this dessert place just opened about two weeks ago.And, due to high demand from patrons, Dessert Kitchen is actually opening later than it used to to spend more time on preparation! ALREADY!! A lot of people come to this place for their egg pudding in EGG SHELLS, which is something that has been popular for a while in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and other parts in Asia. This place is pretty small, and it can probably accomodate approx. 15 patrons at max. Despite of its size, the overall impression of DessertKitchen is very simple and modern. The servers were very friendly, and you can see the bakers doing the preparations from the dining area. The price is reasonable compare to its rivals. They also serve rice in a bamboo bucket! In their menu, the owner specified that sugar was considered as luxury food in the ancient times! In others words, sugar was like diamond to them!! In terms of their food quality, I was quite disappointed with their curry fishballs and gr tea creme brulee. Although the creme brulee has a very well caramelized sugar top, the ramekin they used was very shallow, and the texture didn't really taste like creme brulee. The fishballs weren't rich in curry flavor, and they added extra garlic dices on it. I am looking forward to try their innovations later in the future. I would still recommend this place to my friends!
