Place: Hong Kong China - Disney Resort Hotel

Disneyland Resort hotel is top notch. Even though it’s been opened for several years now, it still seemed like brand new. The grounds, immaculately groomed, the rooms and resort, all very clean and standing tall! Service was outstanding.




Location: The hotel just like Disney is about 30 minutes from town by train (MTR). And you have to take a train to the nearest suburbs. The MTR near the theme park is about 10 mins away from the Disney hotel. There are buses conveniently plying both the disney hotels and the theme park every 10 mins in a circular route. ie Disneyland hotel- disney hollywood hotel - theme park - disney hotel.



Check-in : we arrived at about 8.30 am and were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in to the room at an early hour to enable us to visit the theme park which opened at 10.30am. Fast and fuss free.

There were a lot of disney characters moving around in the lobby area also with whom you could photograph yourself so if you are staying in the hotel there is no need to queue up for meeting Disney characters at the park.All in all was quite satisfied with the stay.

The gift shop sells very reasonably priced Disney merchandise and has a huge variety. We visited the Hollywood Hotel's shop and found that it carried a much smaller range. The prices of the merchandise are the same at DisneyLand, and both the hotels so I would recommend that you purchase from the Hotel to save yourself having to fight the crowds at the Park and then have to carry your purchases around. You can even charge your purchases to your room account. 

The Dineyland Hotel was very pricy and I suggest staying at Disney's Hollywood (next door) and use facilities of both resorts. The location wise Hollywood Hotel is better as it is closer to the actual amuzement park.



Overall I had a terrific time at this property and enjoyed the total Disney experience.
