I have been to many japanese izakaya and compared to Guu I personally like Fin Izakaya better in terms of pricing, portion sizes and ambiance. The food is delicious and you've got to know how to order the right food at izakaya in order to make you full.
The service was great!! As soon as I stepped into Fin I was being very welcome by the Japanese waiters but the only one thing I don't like about is their parking! You have to park your car outside nearby their restaurant and wait for one of the server to come out and guide you to the parking lot so that they can open the gate for you. You cannot just park into their parking you have to have a remote to access to their parking behind the restaurant. Sometimes they don't even have parking enough and you will have to pay for parking in the nearby parking area.

the free snack you get before your meal, I am not sure what this is but it taste like deep fried spaghetti.
a very unique snack at Fin.

this is the rice bomb, rice wrapped with beef and mayonnaise topping. If you are hungry this will be the right food that will make you full after you try out some other small portion order of food.

Duck shichimi yaki - japanese spice seasoned roast duck on a hot plate $8.5
I find this a bit salty but taste not bad

forgot what it's called but this udon is very yummy especially the special sauce, definitely a MUST TRY item

miso tuna tartar $8.95 - chopped tuna marinated with fins signature miso paste! nomnomnom!

beef tataki - the beef were cut in very thin sliced, fresh and yummy!

when i looked at the menu the dessert looks yummy so that I would give it a try but i didnt like the white waffle like topping..it is too chewy this dessert is probably a traditional japanese dessert that might not suitable for everyone's taste. I do not recommend this dessert if you expect this would be something crispy.
I would definitely make a return visit to Fin as compared to Guu, you won't have to wait for hours to get in and they also do take reservation.
